Game On!

August 23, 2021

Now, where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?

Oh yes, the Caledon Senior Hockey League was about to enter the second week of the playoff round-robin when the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in a global lockdown. Don Sheardown Memorial Arena shut down along with everything else and the CSHL season never made it past March 9, 2020.

But that was then, as they say.

Now, we have a vaccine and life is slowly returning to something resembling what it was like pre-Covid.

The CSHL received word from the Town of Caledon there will be a season in 2021-22. So the pre-season draft was held Aug. 23 at the palatial estate of league treasurer John Castellucci.

The season begins Monday, Sept. 13 and there will be some changes from our usual routine. Due to scheduling complications, we will open the season at Westwood Arena in Toronto. We will play there until Nov. 1 when we move to Don Sheardown Memorial Arena in Bolton for the rest of the season.

Your team rep will fill you in on all the fun stuff like Covid protocols at the arena and in the dressing rooms. Please note one thing: you must be double-vaccinated in order to play.
